## Description

Countera is a lightweight and efficient plugin that helps you track and display 
the number of views each of your posts receives. With a simple and intuitive interface,
you can monitor the popularity of your content on a per-user, per-date basis. This
data can be easily exported in CSV format for further analysis and reporting.

### Usage

 1. **View Post Counts**: After activation, the plugin will start tracking views for
    all posts.
 2. **Check Statistics**: Navigate to the plugin’s admin page to see the detailed statistics
    of post views.
 3. **Export Data**: Click on the ‘Export’ button to download the view count data in
    CSV format.

## Installation

 1. Upload the Plugin Files: Upload the `post-view-counter` folder to the `/wp-content/
    plugins/` directory, or install the plugin through the WordPress plugins screen
    directly.
 2. Activate the Plugin: Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ screen in WordPress.

## FAQ

### Can this plugin track the information of guest users?

No, the plugin does not track guest users. It tracks the information of loggedin
users only.

### Is it compatible with WordPress multisite network?

Currently, the plugin is not compatible with WordPress multisite network setups.

### Can I exclude certain users from being tracked?

Yes, you can exclude specific users from being tracked. Use the filter countera_should_track
in your theme’s functions.php file.
