## Installation

Setup FileBird (or File Bird) is easy and takes less than one minute.

 1. Téléchargez l’extension depuis wordpress.org, décompressez-le et téléversez le 
    dossier **[FileBird]** dans votre répertoire **wp-content/plugins/**.
 2. Activer l’extension via le menu « Extensions » de WordPress.
 3. Accédez à votre **Menu WordPress principal > Média** pour créer un dossier pour
    gérer vos fichiers.

## FAQ

### Est-ce que tous mes fichiers précédemment téléversés restent les mêmes après la première installation de cette extension ?

Oui, vous pouvez les trouver dans le dossier **Tous les fichiers**.

### Lorsque je déplace une image vers un autre dossier, cette action affecte-t-elle la façon dont l’image apparaît sur mon interface publique ?

Non, cela n’apporte aucune modification à vos images sur l’interface publique du
site.

### Si je crée un dossier ou une catégorie, cela remplace-t-il le chemin WordPress par défaut « wp-content/uploads » ?

Non. L’extension permet d’organiser visuellement les fichiers dans des dossiers.
Chaque permalien de fichier reste inchangé.

### Can I migrate my existing folders from another plugin?

Yes. FileBird automatically detects and imports folder structures from Enhanced 
Media Library, WP Media Folder by JoomUnited, WordPress Media Library Folders by
Max Foundry, Real Media Library, HappyFiles, and a few others. Your files stay in
their folders after the switch without manual re-sorting.

### Can I use folders for pages, posts, or WooCommerce products?

Yes. The free version includes basic folder support for posts and pages (one folder
level). Deeper organization, including WooCommerce products, coupons, and other 
custom post types, plus multi-level folders for posts/pages, is available in FileBird
Pro.

### Is FileBird compatible with my page builder or theme?

FileBird’s free version works inside the core Media Library, Elementor free version
and block editor. Deeper integrations with page builders and themes (Elementor Pro,
Divi, Avada, Beaver Builder, WPBakery, and others) are part of FileBird Pro. Check

Just wanted to say how much I like this plugin. (I have the pro version) I am also
very impressed with the support. (you may have to wait a few – but the conversation
is saved and there is an audible tone when they respond.) It is easy to access (
go to the plugin and start to deactivate it – it will take you to support). Even
if you accidentally closed the support tab, your conversation is still there. The
support folks are VERY knowledgeable. and they have several tools (they can safely,
remotely view your screen, they provide an easy tool to record what is going wrong.)
to facilitate the support process. Best yet! NO AI!

The Media Library in default WordPress installations is a mess–so unorganized. I
am so, so happy I found FileBird. I can't imagine creating content on a WordPress
