Gorilla Public Catalog Feed for Meta automatically generates a properly formatted product feed from your WooCommerce store, ready to be ingested by Meta’s Commerce Manager for use in Facebook and Instagram catalog ads, shops, and dynamic product ads.

How it works

Once activated, the plugin exposes a public feed URL that Meta’s Commerce Manager can fetch on a schedule. Add the URL to your data source in Commerce Manager, set your refresh schedule, and Meta keeps your catalog in sync with your WooCommerce inventory automatically.

Installation

Upload the plugin files to the /wp-content/plugins/gorilla-public-catalog-feed-for-meta directory, or install the plugin through the WordPress ‘Plugins’ screen directly.
Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ screen in WordPress.
Navigate to the plugin settings page to configure your feed.
Copy the generated feed URL.
In Meta Commerce Manager, create a new data source and paste in the feed URL.

FAQ

Does this require WooCommerce?: Yes. WooCommerce must be installed and active for the plugin to work.
Is the feed URL public?: Yes. The feed must be publicly accessible so that Meta can fetch it on a schedule. Do not include sensitive information in your product data.
How often does the feed update?: The feed is generated dynamically when fetched, so it always reflects your current WooCommerce catalog. Meta’s fetch schedule is controlled in Commerce Manager.
Does it support product variations?: Yes. Variations are included as separate entries in the feed.
