This plugin allows to create gallery for custom post using short-code.
Shortcode

Using shortcode on back-end & same as its working with phpcode using do_shortcode().
Installation
Use WordPress Add New Plugin feature, searching « List Custom Post with featured image », or download the archive and:
- Unzip the archive on your computer
- Upload
list-custom-post-imagedirectory to the/wp-content/plugins/directory - Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress
- Use shortcode & show post gallery on anywhere

Sometimes you need something as simple as this. All functionality, no bloat.
Edited: By the way, it’s working fine with WordPress version 6.3!
