### 󠀁[If their hosting goes down, your plugin goes down](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/if-their-hosting-goes-down-your-plugin-goes-down/)󠁿

 [jansie](https://profiles.wordpress.org/jansie/) 24 juillet 2026

Avoid this plugin for live, high-stakes client builds. During a recent vendor hosting
outage, our agency discovered a critical architectural vulnerability: Piotnet Forms
couples local plugin operations directly to their external infrastructure. When
their corporate servers went down, it did not just halt plugin updates—it took down
the core functionality of live client websites. For a self-hosted environment, there
is absolutely no technical justification for a form plugin’s front-end rendering
or local submission processing to rely synchronously on the vendor’s hosting availability.
Core assets and logic must be executed locally. When pressed on this systemic single
point of failure, their support team completely dodged the structural flaw, treating
it as a routine hosting hiccup rather than a fundamental design defect. If you manage
enterprise or high-traffic websites where downtime impacts reputation and revenue,
be warned: using this plugin introduces an unnecessary external dependency that
can break your sites at any time. We are actively migrating our entire client base
to decoupled, reliable alternatives.

### 󠀁[A bit clunky but it works](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/clunky-hard-to-use-not-for-the-times-id-say/)󠁿

 [ianstudio](https://profiles.wordpress.org/ianstudio/) 9 mai 2026

Could be improved visually as it can feel a bit clunky (not terrible but feel it
could be better), and could have more tutorials, videos etc, but it works. Interface
isn't as polished as "drag-and-drop" competitors. A bit of a steeper learning curve
to figure out how to style things or map fields correctly.

### 󠀁[4.5 stars – a powerful form plugin in the pro version](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/4-5-stars-a-powerful-form-plugin-in-the-pro-version/)󠁿

 [IFX](https://profiles.wordpress.org/ifx64/) 4 juin 2025

I'd give it 5 stars, but the UI is a little clunky, though probably more flexible
than most other WP form plugins. I purchased the Pro version which can do more than
any other form plugin I've tried, including Fluent Forms and Bit Forms. Of course
WS Form is still more advanced, but then so is it's price 😉 Unfortunately for the
free version, Piotnet don't appear to be maintaining it anymore, as it hasn't had
an update in a very long time – maybe they're only supporting the Pro version now?

### 󠀁[Best Forms Plugin Hands Down!](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/best-forms-plugin-hands-down/)󠁿

 [rattbaztard](https://profiles.wordpress.org/rattbaztard/) 4 juillet 2024

On another note, you guys are fantastic; I enjoy working and pushing the limits
with your system and even finding out the bugs. Even making the improvements with
the Image Upload, I remember when I first requested if your app could take pictures
about 2, maybe three years ago on Messenger… you guys got the Image Upload done,
then I asked for a multiple file option with min/max, you got that done. Then the(
+/-) buttons- it was a surprise how long that took- but you did get it working.
Thank you! I don't use many plugins anymore. I went to you guys, and you added the
feature, which is excellent. Your system blows away all the other form plugins.
They are weak. We have now taken advantage of remote requests with our API and are
building an excellent app with your plugin. For this, I am both thankful and appreciative!
This showed me you guys listened and gained my loyalty!

### 󠀁[Gross Company](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/gross-company/)󠁿

 [ofihsdfoi](https://profiles.wordpress.org/ofihsdfoi/) 6 juin 2024

This company is one of the only form plugins that disable the entire plugin if any
changes to the domain name occur, hurting website owners. No other company does
this, not even the big ones, because it's a well understood concept to not bork
your customers website from a license mismatch. GROSS.

### 󠀁[Horrible Support](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/horrible-support-50/)󠁿

 [digityza](https://profiles.wordpress.org/digityza/) 19 février 2024

The plugin is decent once you figure out how things work, but it also has limitations.
Documentation is thorough but not up to date. If you need support, forget about
it. By the time someone gets back to you if at all, it will already have been too
late. Better options out there
