screen — or it may suddenly disappear without any option to re-enable it.

## Installation

#### Install directly from WP repository

 1. Go to your WordPress Dashboard.
 2. Log in to your site and navigate to Plugins  Add New.
 3. Search for the Plugin. In the search bar, type “Status Widget Restorer for WooCommerce.”
 4. Once it appears in the search results, click Install Now.
 5. After installation, click Activate to enable it on your site.

That’s it!
 The WooCommerce Status (Overview) widget should now reappear on your
Dashboard  Home screen automatically.

#### Manual Installation

 1. Upload the plugin files to `/wp-content/plugins/status widget restorer for woocommerce/`
    directory
 2. Activate **Status Widget Restorer for WooCommerce** through the ‘Plugins’ screen
    in WordPress
 3. Go to **Dashboard  Home** and check **Screen Options** to ensure « WooCommerce 
    Status » is enabled

## FAQ

### Why isn’t the widget showing?

 1. **Complete WooCommerce Setup**: Ensure the WooCommerce setup wizard is completed
 2. **Check Screen Options**: Go to Dashboard  Screen Options and ensure « WooCommerce
    Status » is checked
 3. **User Permissions**: Make sure your user has `manage_woocommerce` or `manage_options`
    capability
 4. **Confirm WooCommerce is active**: The plugin only restores the widget when WooCommerce
    is installed and active

### The widget still doesn’t appear after activation

 1. **Plugin Conflicts**: Temporarily deactivate other plugins to test for conflicts
 2. **Theme Issues**: Switch to a default WordPress theme to test
 3. **WooCommerce Admin**: Ensure the WooCommerce Admin plugin is active
 4. **Re-run Setup**: Try completing the WooCommerce setup wizard again
