This plugin integrates text validation provided by <a href=\"http:\/\/redpen.cc\/docs\/latest\/index.html#server\">RedPen Server<\/a> into the WordPress editor.<\/p>\n <h3>Features<\/h3>\n <ul>\n<li>Validates text with RedPen as you type<\/li>\n<li>Supports both Visual and Text WordPress editors<\/li>\n<li>Validation errors are marked in Visual editor in-place<\/li>\n<li>Validation error messages are also listed below and highlighted in the editor on click<\/li>\n<li>Autodetection of supported languages and variants (currently, English or Japanese)<\/li>\n<li>RedPen <a href=\"http:\/\/redpen.cc\/docs\/latest\/index.html#validator\">validators<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/redpen.cc\/docs\/latest\/index.html#setting-symbols\">symbols<\/a> \ncan be configured directly in WordPress panel below the editor<\/li>\n<li>Configuration is stored for next visit with the same browser<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<!--section=installation-->\n<p>By default, the plugin uses public RedPen installation at https:\/\/redpen.herokuapp.com\/ for validation. See below if you want to use your own installation of <a href=\"http:\/\/redpen.cc\/docs\/latest\/index.html#server\">RedPen Server<\/a>.<\/p>\n <ul>\n<li>The plugin is available in <a href=\"https:\/\/wordpress.org\/plugins\/redpen\/\">WordPress Plugin Directory<\/a>, so you can install it directly form there.<\/li>\n<li>Or you can <a href=\"https:\/\/downloads.wordpress.org\/plugin\/redpen.zip\">download redpen.zip<\/a> and upload it on the WordPress Plugins page. Alternatively, extract the zip file to WordPress subdirectory <code>\/wp-content\/plugins\/<\/code>.<\/li>\n<li>Activate the plugin in WordPress Admin console -&gt; Plugins -&gt; Installed plugins.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n <h3>Using an own instance of RedPen Server<\/h3>\n <p>If you are uncomfortable sending your text for validation to an external server, you can use your own instance.<\/p>\n <p>To use the plugin, you need to have <strong>RedPen Server<\/strong> v1.4.5 or newer. Please refer to <a href=\"http:\/\/redpen.cc\/docs\/latest\/index.html#server\">RedPen Server documentation<\/a> for more details on how to start it.<\/p>\n <p>By default, local RedPen Server will respond at <code>http:\/\/localhost:8080\/<\/code>.
