Installation

WordPress Admin Method

Go to you administration area in WordPress Plugins > Add
Look for BackWPup (use search form)
Click on Install and activate the plugin

FTP Method

FAQ

Comment restaurer une sauvegarde ?

Restoring backups made with BackWPup can be done multiple ways. Please take a look at our documentation here to learn more.

Ma tâche de sauvegarde semble ne pas exécutée suivant sa planification.

BackWPup utilise le système de cron interne à WordPress (WP Cron) pour exécuter les tâches de sauvegarde. Afin de permettre à WordPress de « savoir » quand exécuter une tâche, son « horloge » interne doit être mise à jour régulièrement. Cela arrive quand votre site est visité. Si votre site n’est pas visité pendant une certaine période de temps, l’horloge interne de WordPress n’est plus à jour. Dans ce cas il est nécessaire d’utiliser un service externe pour solliciter régulièrement http://your-site.tld/wp-cron.php afin de maintenir l’horloge de WordPress à jour.

Un façon simple de déterminer si WP Cron fonctionne correctement avec votre site est de créer un nouvel article et de lui définir une heure de publication dans le futur, par exemple dans 10 minutes. Ensuite quittez votre site (c’est très important) et revenez au moins 11 minutes plus tard et vérifiez si l’article est publié. Si il ne l’est pas alors votre problème vient certainement de WP Cron.

Arg ! Le message est : « ERREUR : aucune destination définie correctement pour la sauvegarde ! »

That means a backup job has started, but BackWPup doesn’t know where to store the backup files. Please cancel the running job and re-edit its configuration. There should be a Tab “To: …” in your backup job’s configuration. Have you set a backup target correctly?

A backup job has started, but nothing seems to be happening—not even when I restart it manually.

Solution #1

Ouvrir BackWPup->Réglages
Aller dans l’onglet Informations
Trouver Connexion au serveur : dans la colonne de gauche.
Le message ressemble à (401) Authorisation required dans la colonne de droite, aller dans l’onglet Réseau et remplissez les champs noms et mot de passe pour l’authentification de type basique.
Essayez de relancer la tâche de sauvegarde.

Solution #2

Ouvrez le fichier wp-config.php et recherchez la ligne qui commence par if ( !defined('ABSPATH') ).
Un peu avant cette ligne, ajouter la ligne suivante :define( 'ALTERNATE_WP_CRON', true );

Solution #3

Pas vraiment une solution, mais un moyen d’identifier le problème&nbsp: Regardez les remarques sur WP Cron ci-dessus.

J’obtiens ce message d’erreur : ‘Le test de la réponse HTTP se termine par l’erreur « Durée de connexion dépassée »‘

BackWPup exécute une requête HTTP vers le serveur à chaque fois que vous cliquez sur Exécuter maintenant ou quand une tâche démarre automatiquement. La réponse à ce message de test HTTP peut signifier :
* Votre hébergeur n’autorise pas les connexions en locale. (Si vous maîtrisez WP_ALTERNATE_CRON, essayez le).
* Votre répertoire racine de WordPress ou votre répertoire de sauvegarde nécessite une authentification. Saisissez un nom d’utilisateur et un mot de passe dans Réglages->Réseau.
* Le serveur ne sait pas résoudre son propre nom.
* Une extension ou un thème bloque cette requête.
* D’autres possibilités provenant de votre serveur et / ou de votre configuration de WordPress.

J’ai une erreur fatale : ‘Impossible de créer le répertoire […]/wp-content/backwpup-[…]-logs dans […]/wp-content/plugins/backwpup/inc/class-job.php …`

Merci de passer la commande CHMOD 775 sur le répertoire /wp-content/ puis de rechercher le tableau de bord de BackWPup. Si cela ne corrige pas le problème, essayez la commande CHMOD 777. Vous devez repasser la commande CHMOD 755 une fois que BackWPup aura créer ses répertoires.

Quand je modifie une tâche, l’onglet « Fichiers » ne se charge pas.

Allez dans Réglages->Général et décocher « Taille des dossiers ».

J’ai produit une liste de mes extensions installées, mais le résultat est difficile à lire.

Essayez d’ouvrir le fichier dans un éditeur de texte comme Notepad++ (Windows) or TextMate (Mac) pour ne pas casser les retours à la ligne.

Mon hébergeur me signale que BackWPup entraîne une charge sur le serveur qui est inacceptable !

Allez dans Réglages->Tâches et essayez une option différente pour « Réduire la charge du serveur ».

Est-ce que je peux annuler une tâche de sauvegarde par FTP ?

Oui. Allez dans le répertoire temporaire de BackWPup et trouvez un fichier qui se nomme backwpup-xyz-working.jsonoù « xyz » est une chaîne aléatoire de chiffres et lettres. Supprimer ce fichier pour annuler la tâche de sauvegarde en cours.

Est-ce que je peux déplacer le répertoire temp à un autre endroit ?

Oui. Vous devez avoir le droit de modifier le fichier wp-config.php (se trouvant normalement dans le répertoire racine de votre installation WordPress).

Ouvrez le fichier wp-config.php et recherchez la ligne qui commence par if ( !defined('ABSPATH') ).
Un peu avant cette ligne, ajoutez la ligne suivante :define( 'WP_TEMP_DIR', '/absolute/path/to/wp/your/temp-dir' );
