External Services & Data Processing

Scanlix connects to api.scanlix.app for scan processing and license validation. When you click « Generate Fix, » AI providers generate suggested code changes.

What data is sent:

* HTML content of scanned pages (PII-scrubbed for AI processing)
* Issue detection results

AI providers may retain data for up to 30 days for abuse monitoring. We strip personal data from HTML before processing, but page content may incidentally contain author names or email addresses in HTML attributes or text.

* When: Only when you click « Generate Fix » for a specific issue
* Data Retention: AI providers may retain data for up to 30 days for abuse monitoring unless a zero-data-retention agreement is in place
* Note: We strip personal data from HTML before processing, but page content may incidentally contain author names or email addresses in HTML attributes or text
