Avis

This is the best captcha as it doesn’t spy on it’s users.

Ever wondered why this captcha even is a thing considering google re-captcha is so widely spread? Well some of us webmasters don’t want to let google spy on you.

Everytime you solve a google re-captcha by clicking that « i’m not a robot » button a signal with your computers unique fingerprint is sent to google and indexed in their massive database. Now google knows you authenticated to do something on a website url, a huge invasion of your privacy.

simple math captcha generates it’s math locally, no signals being sent to big brother and no need for your privacy to be broken.

Thanks to the developer for giving users a free alternative to the horrible google re-captcha.

Efficient but not visitor friendly enough

Technically, it seems to work well.

According to my experience, the weakness is the following, especially with comments:
When the vsitor forgets to fill captcha or types a wrong captcha, they get a blank page telling them about the problem BUT with no « Back » button. They need to use their browser « Back » icon. It doesn’t feel professional.
On top of that, when back on the comment page, their comment has vanished. They need to type it again. Very inconvenient !

I told the team about that weakness (on this forum & on their website) but got no reaction… No reaction is another bad mark…

Consequence: I uninstalled this plugin and I use WPBruiser instead.
